…There was still racism, and there was a lot of segregation of religions. Women were gaining more rights, but they still were discriminated against. With all of the new inventions such as autos and other factory products, not enough families could make enough to buy all these things and keep the industry prospering. The 1920s will always be looked back upon as a fascinating time that contradicts itself in just about every aspect it can.
