EXECUTIVE SUMMARY We were given the task to analyse the feasibility of a merger between the Action Company, which is an American enterprise and the German Multi Company. Both companies have their reasons for a merger. The financially strong Multi is seeking a partner
overall they are similar. But after we took a closer look at the two companies themselves and analysed the national cultural dimensions, we noticed that the two company's cultures differ a lot. We think that the differences found regarding national cultural in the two companies could cause a barrier for the planned merger. This might also have to do with different organisational cultures at which we will take a closer look in the next chapter.
