An Explanation of representation in U.S. Government.

In a Representative Government there must be representation. In the case of the U.S., that representation comes from the United States Congress. Congress was created through the Constitution as an intrinsic part of the government. The Constitution establishes a delineation of powers; Congress has three very important powers, the legitimacy to use those powers, and the consequences if those powers are abused. Congress has significant power, but it cannot do a number of things. …

…there are three very important Congressional powers, it is important to note that these powers are not unlimited in their scope. Congress has a set of rules that it has to abide by, and if it does not then it will have to pay for the consequences. The powers that it does have are very important to the welfare of the U.S. Without them, the nation would not be able to function at all.
