Analysis of creation myths

Living in the hustle and bustle of our own worlds, hardly do we step back and observe the surroundings and indulge in our innate curiosity of creation. Some of us might already hold a fervent belief of how the world came into existence, and this belief system is most likely related to one's religious or cultural background. …many different powers. The Norse and the Hopi creation story exhibit this theory polytheism. Another differing element of this genre of writing is that some stories are written in verses and some are in prose. The Hindu and Mesopotamian versions are in verses, while the Judeo-Christian, Hopi, and Norse stories are in prose. Even though big gaps exist between different stories, creation myths all serve the same purpose of explaining how the world came about.
