…valuable these creatures offer us and continue to plague them with unbearable conditions to which a human would not be able to stand, but this is all justified by ignoring the idea of animals having feelings. For too long animals have been the subject of inhuman treatment while held captive in cages by the hands of scientists. Tougher restrictions should be applied to researchers for the protections of animals. They need protection from cruel research.
