Anthropology:four major strategies for getting food

Chapter 5 in the textbook focuses on the four major strategies for getting food: foraging, horticulture, pastoralism, and agriculture. Each of these four strategies possesses important characteristics. …, they live a sedentary lifestyle not a nomadic one. Food is an essential part of survival. Our strategies for food production have definitely progressed over the years. Even when a society is faced with problems, they learn how to adapt their land to change. Even though these ideas have been around for a long time they are still very efficient ways of food production and will continue to remain so for many more generations.
