However, these experiences of hardships differed greatly among black males and females in the south. …was an off spring of the master. As one could see there were many differences between the lives of a male slave and a woman slave in the south. They both experienced hardships of their own and coped with it in their own fashion. The life of a male slave was just as brutal as the life of a female slave thus it is impossible to say that one had it easier than the other.
