Artistic Experience

On Good Friday my family and I went to see "The Last Three Days", a play about the life of Jesus Christ as narrated by his disciples just after the Crucifixion. The First Assembly of God Church was presenting it. I had never been in this church before so I didn't know what to expect, but as we entered, the members greeted us warmly. …he had done. Thinking back, I realize I have probably read about or heard the story of the Crucifixion hundreds of times. However, I have never felt so strongly about it as I did after seeing this play. Whether it was the quality of the acting, the power of the music or the collective emotions of the audience, I will always regard this as one of the most impressive artistic experiences I have ever encountered.
