Most of the medical community does not support them and most insurance companies exclude them from coverage. There are still many mysteries about autism. But hopefully through DNA research we can come to a better understanding of autism. With hope, one-day scientists will figure out what exactly happens to the brain during autism and develop a cure to this devastating disease.
