Ballparks Then and Now Ballparks are becoming more advanced and fan friendly. There has been six new stadiums built in the last three to four years, and 8 more are on the way. Does it have something to do with the stadiums falling apart or just the fact that fans need something new? Some new stadiums try to stay with some of the same features from their old stadiums and some go to something totally different. …

…ould argue that the stadiums are a waste of money, even a waste of public goods. But in the cases of these stadiums they beat what writers write on how valuable benefits for the public are difficult to measure (Johnson 1). Stadiums bring a lot of revenue for the state and businesses involved with it. These benefits are un measurable. These stadiums were built for the fans and not too many of them are complaining.
