Bio of Jimmy Connors

Jimmy Connors was born on September 2nd, 1952. He started to play tennis at a very young age, under the teachings of his mother Gloria Thompson Connors, a teching professional. When he was a teenager he and his family moved to California where he recieved advanced training from Pancho Gonazales and Pancho Segura. He won the NCAA singles title at 1971 as a student of UCLA.
