…the U.S.'s nuclear weapons. General Ripper rebelled, obviously not respecting the President, and ordered the attack without the consent. There have been similar examples of disrespect during Kennedy's reign by his generals. The only major flaw in this film is that the recall code wouldn't be only known to one man alone, but who cares because this film still showed the devastating effects of a Nuclear War and past on an important message.
