Knowing these facts and the different types and stages of breast cancer helps me to be in control of the disease and easies the fear. In addition, by detecting the cancer early I could remove the cancer earlier on before giving it a chance to spread. Thus receiving less drastic treatments and not have to worry about plastic surgery.
