Bunker Hill

On June 17, 1775 the unfortunate Battle of Bunker Hill took place. It is one of the most important colonial victories in the U.S. War for Independence. …Americans won. It not only can be argued that the Americans won the battle, but it can be disputed that the Americans won at heart. They went out there and fought for what they believed in; the chance of freedom. They had been held back with taxes and acts that were passed on them from Britain for too long. The Americans were the ones who deserved the title of winning the battle at Bunker Hill.
