Introduction: Business as usual is not an option. The continuing degradation of our natural resources and the impoverishment of large segments of the world's population are placing our security, and that of future generations, at risk. …the medium term will be faced with the following problems: New and more heavy legislations will oblige the company to change radically its policy this will give bad reputation to the company. Other companies which will have already changed their principles and processes will operate much more efficiently and will have much more economic gains and higher profits. The two above mentioned arguments prove the case in favour of an early adoption of sustainable development.
