Replacing Canada's current system with MMP would increase the legitimacy and democracy of the way in which our votes are translated into seats, however before reform takes place, organized public education must be provided so that Canadians can fully identify and realize the circumstances under which increased equity and efficacy in the electoral system are achieved.
