Today, 112 counties in the world have abolished capital punishment in law or practice (Use of the death penalty worldwide, 2004). Capital punishment is a controversial problem. …all these refute against capital punishment, we clearly see that the reasons for supporting capital punishment are extremely weak. In conclusion, capital punishment should be abolished because it would go against the stance of most people and most counties. Also, it may take innocent people. Furthermore, it is cruel. People should be aware of the bad consequences of capital punishment. The government should consider the opinion of most people and get rid of capital punishment.
