Throughout generations many philosophers have argued about how much the government should be involved in an economy. Countries such as USA, which is extremely capitalist have a huge number of homeless people. Countries such as USSR, which is on the left wing and being a communist country, people have lost the incentive to work bringing the economy down. …relate to innovation. Competition does encourage innovation, and capitalism has produced well over a century of dizzying technical progress. At the same time productivity has also increased at a phenomenal rate. These technological developments can, in large part, be linked to the competitive environment of the free market. However that success is tainted by one thing that keeps popping up in all capitalist countries is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
