Cause of Crime

A topic that I find interesting is crime control and crime prevention. All across the country, crime control and crime prevention is a major topic for politicians and citizens. The recent increase in the risk, intensity and sophistication of crime around the world threatens the safety of citizens everywhere and hinders countries in their social, economic, and cultural development. …and sends the message to would-be offenders that these crimes are not be tolerated. In comparison with Developmental Prevention and Early Intervention, parents are encouraged to inflict certain types of cost to educate their children that there are consequences to their actions. I feel that family and parenting interventions significantly reduce the time spent by juvenile delinquents in institutions. There would also be a significant reduction in the risk of a juvenile delinquent being re-arrested.
