Character Analysis of Charlotte Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper"

In Charlotte Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper" the main character is a woman who might have been slowly slipping into a state of insanity, but her husband caused the process to escalate as quickly as it did. Unfortunately, the misdiagnosis from her husband and brother caused her condition to get worse. However, it is painfully obvious that no matter what happened, Charlotte Gilman was already on the road of insanity and would have came to that dead end at some point or another.
