…remained in their old habitats, where they struggled successfully, crowding them out of existence. In 1881 Darwin became very weak and could no longer work. In 1882 he died all though he never claimed to have proof of evolutionary change had occurred. Recently there has been direct evidence of evolutionary change by an extraordinary amount of evidence gathered from a variety of science fields. Darwin is now buried among the great minds of England in Westminster Abbey.
