Clinton's Presidency

On December 19th of 1998, Congress passed two articles of impeachment against our then president, William Jefferson Clinton. These actions taken by the house were a result in Clinton having an inappropriate sexual relationship with his intern, Monica Lewinsky. This investigation spear-headed at Clinton was the work of prosecutor Kenneth Starr. Starr seemed poised to the task to bring Clinton down. …with accordingly. Even though Clinton looked bad in the public eye. The people that turned out looking worse was Kenneth Starr and the people persecuting Clinton for his personal character flaws that did not effect his position in office. This scandal/ court case set a very important unwritten guideline for the strict morals and ethics that our executive branch now knows they must abide by or they will face possible unwarranted public and media persecution.
