Mainframes perform more tasks and at a faster rate than an ordinary PC. PCs are mainly utilized for processing, spreadsheets, and other less demanding calculations. Mainframes can handle hundreds or thousands of users at one time and perform tasks or calculations at a faster rate than an ordinary PC.
