…every man had a chance to own land, which proved that New England was the land of great opportunity. Both colonies had many significant differences that set them apart. I feel life in the New England colonies was a little better because they didn't have some of the negative issued that the Chesapeake had like malaria. Also they seem to have a strong Christian background which is always a good foundation for anything in life.
