I found John Simon's review of Sleepless in Seattle to be very harsh he says, "Annie could very happily marry Walter, a decent fellow who takes rejection with touching magnanimity. But no..." (Simon 3). Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail are more directed towards an audience of women, and most likely would get higher reviews by women rather than men.
