Congree and Foreign Powers

Congress has important powers in the areas of foreign policy and national defense. …with getting reelected than they were about exercising their power granted to it by the War Powers Act to stop Bush. The President kept sending more troops into the Persian Gulf without the approval of Congress, and long after his 60 and 90 days were up. The war might have occurred at the wrong time, but when things need to be done, Congress should be accomplishing them. The members should put the country first, not their careers.
