Both the pros and cons for abortion are very compelling, and the struggle between pro-life and pro-choice supporters has been long and brutal. …a scientific one. Women now have the right to privacy under the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment. The Due Process Clause states that "No state shall...deprive any person of life, liberty, or property..." Women therefore have the right to do as they wish to their own bodies, including inducing an abortion. While the moral and ethical issues of that decision can be left to debate, the legal concerns should be left untouched.
