Convergency Insufficiency

Convergence Insufficiency Convergence insufficiency is a syndrome of binocular vision. This occurs when one or both eyes tend to drift slightly outward at the reading distance, and extra effort is required to hold the eyes in alignment. This is a problem of the coordination and teaming of the eye muscles and may contribute to symptoms of headaches and eye fatigue.
