Cooking: Self-Teaching and the Creative Process

Cooking is a skill that I have always had an interest in learning. When I decided to take on the challenge of teaching myself how to cook, I underestimated its complexity. Although I came across many obstacles, I was able to overcome these obstacles with patience, persistence, and the desire to achieve my goal. I look forward to pursuing my desire to cook in the future. Over time, I would like to accumulate more cookbooks from different cultures as well; like Indian, Cuban, Chinese, et cetera. Eventually, I would like to become so skilled in cooking that I can make my own exotic and complex recipes.
