Introduction The purpose of my project is to see how evaporation affects the sizes of growing crystals. I am using thee different chemicals. I add water to each chemical and mix it into a solution. …e petri dishes after each experiment. The quick evaporation of the salt and sugar solutions made the petri dishes really hard to clean. I also expected different results for the sugar solution. I thought they would grow into pieces of crystals of the isometric system. I will not use salt or sugar if I did this project again. I would probably use copper sulfate again. I would also make more solutions and do more trials.
