Cultur Shock in America

…is very harsh. Although the dominant culture is not the majority of the population in many cities across the United States, it holds most of the power. The dominant culture defines what the culture for their society will contain. Hopefully one day the United States will be able to accept all cultures with open arms. Also, hopefully subcultures will be able to coincide with the dominant culture peacefully, while holding on to their cultural roots.
