Death and the Movies

Everyone has an opinion on where one goes when they die; film makers are no exception. Two extraordinary movies about death are, What Dreams May Come and The Sixth Sense. Both movies, where similar, offer extremely different points of view. Both movies express that people must accept the fact that they are dead. …take any to heart. Faith is something that the individual has the right to, and should be explored, not exploited. Love is always intertwined with death in the movies and there are few stories as moving as the sense of loss or a lost love found. Again these are meant to entertain. No one really knows what happens after death, but with movies like these everyone gains a little hope and possibly a little faith.
