Thus, he is now doubting his opinions and beliefs because they are all based on everything he believed to be true. Therefore, it is impossible to doubt this. Finally Descartes talks about being content while he sleeps, as he is able to escape life and the fact that he has created this huge problem for himself. Thus, he would rather sleep and not deal with it.
