Desert

A desert is basically a wilderness or a wasteland. There is little moisture and poor soil such as sand gravel or rock. There are few plants to offer shade. Deserts can be described as harsh places. Reptiles who live in the hot desert can stand more heat then mammals, because of their waterproof skins help them to keep their body moisture. Most desert animals can go for many days without water. Many do not drink water. For the ones whom do they get all the water they need from plants and other food like insects.
