Development of Racism in Modern Nation States

Racism is a worldwide social problem that was developed through prejudice and ethnocentrism. Ethnocentrism is the belief or assumption that your own cultural and/or societal group is the most superior. …group has the same intellectual potentialities. Ideologically, race is only a social concept provided that ethnic group identify with there own. Our skin color, hair color, eye shape, and other physical and facial attribute are accountable for racial profiling. The only reason why we still use racial identification is in order to put groups in terms of labels. So until we, as humans, can look beyond racial line, racism will continue to influence us everyday.
