Now, the world is drifting towards more rigid and more barbarous methods of solving problems - and that is to crush and destroy the enemy by the use of weapons. The current US invasion of Afghanistan is a fresh example of such mentality. The time is ripe enough to pay heed to what Saint Augustine said: "Destroy war by words of negotiations, but do not destroy men by swords."
