…a difficult situation for government as they will have the final say over any changes to the law but as we live in a democratic country it would be only fair to have a referendum on the subject so that the people can have their say. It is a subject, like the death penalty, which is likely to be controversial forever as it can never be guaranteed to be right or wrong in every case.
