Discuss the Inappropriateness of Australian Display Homes

Australian homes are inappropriate for Australia's climate and are wasting resources due to inappropriate designs. Homes in Australia are not built for specific locations and designed to achieve maximum views, light and cooling, but rather for cheapness and decorative features, which only adds to the running cost in the future. …and for the amount of ventilation that is needed. I greatly dislike display homes as the location of windows is not built for the purpose of each different location. Many of the home also don't allow for enough space for a garden with large trees, that provide cooling and shading. I believe that Australian homes and display homes should become more simple and built for their purpose and location rather than buy from a plan.
