Appeasement which was done by chamberlain was to satisfy Germany for preventing war. Actually, at that time, Germany was demanding many things which it lost through Treaty of Versaille. As I said before, I think appeasement is good, even if appeasement has many bad sides, it made countries prepare for a war and saved millions of death from an earlier war.
