Domestic Violence In America

A problem has become known and to many, they feel that it's about time that the general public has taken notice. This problem has been a taboo for centuries and in the mid nineties it has chosen to let itself be known, the problem that I am talking about is domestic violence, it has ruined families, and demoralized the victims for years and now because of the 'trial of the century' we finally are allowed …

…has become common knowledge that unless something is done, it will continue to be a problem for families to deal with. Killing the abuser obviously isn't the answer, and arresting the abuser might just be a short term solution, the way to end domestic violence is to give treatment to those who need it, the problem is that 'most abusers don't believe that they have a problem ... or that there isn't any reason to change'
