The aftermath of the Scientific Revolution, also known as The Enlightenment was an up rise of intellectual, economic, as well a political movement that spread through England, France, Germany, and many other parts of Europe during the 1700s. It affected people in various ways. The advancements of the Enlightenment transformed the Western world into an intelligent and self-aware civilization. …Enlightenment affected Western society in great amounts of ways. From all the agriculture, commercialism, and manufacturing changes, it produced fast growing population. With better food supplies, people lived longer. New jobs helped landless people support themselves and their families. In result of that, there was earlier marriage. The rising population promoted more competition. The Enlightenment also invited the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, which provided people with jobs and new cities in which to live.
