Emmitt Smith vs. Walter Payton

…shared quite a few differences in their careers. Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton will never be forgotten. They were great men and lighted up opposing defenses in the league. They set records in college and continued that in their NFL careers. While Emmitt continues to run, let us not forget Payton, who died from a rare disease in which the ducts that drain bile from the liver become inflamed and blocked. Payton died on November 1, 1999.
