American families today are busy. They have to attend to their long hours at work, children's' school activities, running errands, and somehow spend quality time at home with their family. The government must accommodate the modern society by getting the new generations interested, making the process less time consuming, and informing the voters of the candidates' issues more thoroughly. When these points are taken care of the voting turnouts will be higher and democracy will work to our advantage.
