English Impact on Indians

Some positive impacts that Europeans had on Native Americans was the introduction of wheat, sugar, rice, and coffee. They also introduced horses, cows, and pigs. The introduction of horses to the Native Americans helped greatly with their hunting. Some negative impacts are diseases like smallpox, measles, and bubonic plague. …lost a lot of land. I think it's a good thing the Europeans' culture prevailed. If the Native Americans prevailed there would be no United States of America. We wouldn't be living the comfortable lives we have today. Our technologies, government, and intelligence make us, the USA, the most powerful country in our world today. I feel if the Native Americans would have prevailed, our civilizations would be much less advanced then they currently are.
