…shows how a girl grows up and how she is maturing. The story shows us how Esperanza, the protagonist, changes from a girl to a woman. For me the story was a little confusing because of me being a boy and the story about a girl. For the conclusion the story was a coming of age story that tells us the side that we don't know about people like Esperanza and how they grow up.
