To most people the issue of euthanasia is a matter of right from wrong. Those people who disagree with the practice of euthanasia base have created their opinions from a religious viewpoint. These people do not realize that the issue of euthanasia is strictly about the freedom to choose. If the person is going to definitely die, and that the death will be humiliating, drawn out, and time consuming and expensive, then in the freest nation in the world that person should be allowed to die. This is not an ethical concern of God, it is a question of freedom. Euthanasia must be legalized to ensure the happiness and freedoms of the people in our country.
