Far from being perfect, Trudeau shows that Canada's federalism is adaptable and capable of surviving. All in all, I think the book holds up quite well today, despite the fact that it is thirty-three years old. Without a doubt, Pierre Trudeau's thoughts and ideals will remain relevant for a long time to come.
