Black men in South Africa are most commonly remembered for their efforts in the anti-Apartheid struggles and these black men should not be disregarded. …in a secretive yet powerful way. One can not forget that the Black Sash was part of the thrust that changed the political status of South Africa. Annexure The Black Sash dissolved in 1994 after the first Democratic Elections. They reformed themselves in 1995 as a mixed race party aimed at maintaining the human rights of all race groups. The Black Sash is currently involved in projects such as feeding schemes and housing plans for the disadvantaged.
