Foreign Policy between Truman and Reagan.

The president of the United States is the head of the state of the United States. During 1945, Democrat Harry S Truman succeeded Roosevelt at the conclusion of World War II; he was committed to accommodating the Soviets and structuring a peaceful post-war global system. The President is the Commander in Chief of all military forces and uses them to support and protect his policy and that of the United States as a whole. Both presidents have significant control in dealing with foreign nations. I feel that Reagan and Truman had more issues to deal with where as the public viewed Reagan and Truman as men of action.
