Ganhi's Struggle

Mahatma Gandhi was a great Hindu leader and model for the world to follow. His fervor for an independent India encouraged others to stand behind and support him in his efforts to obtain an independent country. Gandhi was born in India yet he received the majority of his preparation for the India's movement in South Africa. …Pakistan into separate states. Gandhi's death was regarded as an international catastrophe. He developed a place not just in India's history but world history with his accomplishments. Successful basically because he and India refused to quit and would not just roll over to the Britain any longer. Gandhi's efforts came to inspire nonviolent movements elsewhere, notably in the U.S. under the civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. and in Africa under Nelson Mandela.
